Working together for over 30 years to build a beautiful life that focuses on the flow of creative energy, Alexandra and Ronan have joined their passions to create "Sámi Ronan Craft”.
Alexandra and Ronan create and live their art in their home by the ocean in Kye Bay, Comox on Vancouver Island.
Alexandra has her own unique, ever-changing, and playful approach to jewelry design.
She is a skilled artist of over 35 years and strives to create handcrafted one-of-a-kind pieces, with the added goal of bringing the Sámi culture and their artistic influence to a wider audience. She celebrates beauty in simplicity, and endeavours to create pieces that connect and resonate with the wearer on a personal level, becoming more beautiful as time unfolds.

“Creating one-of-a-kind jewellery and Sámi inspired crafts is my way to form connections and share my creative energy with the world. I believe jewelry design, as an art form, should be fluid. As with art in general, designs change as new influences from other cultures and experiences enter into our awareness”.

Through a meditative process, Ronan is drawn to symbols that enhance metaphysical healing. Using a variety of silversmith techniques, he is dedicated to creating thoughtful, handcrafted sterling silver jewelry using top quality components, chains and stones. Many of the symbols Ronan incorporates in his craft have been drawn from Sámi drums, Rune stones, healing arts such as Reiki, and old manuscripts. Ronan creates his pieces as a wearable reminder of your healing journey, your intentions and your personal aspirations.

“All of our designs are handcrafted in our workshop and we welcome folks to visit us and browse our Home Studio. We are excited to share our creative process and the stories behind our new designs and are here to help you find the perfect piece that speaks to your heart”.
